Membership

It is free to join the UK DCTN!

We welcome applications from anyone with an interest in research into the treatment of skin diseases.  Currently, members are dermatologists, dermatology nurses, health services researchers and patients.

There are three different levels of membership depending on how involved you wish to become:

1.  Keep up to date

We will send you regular newsletters about our activities and keep you informed of the research activity of the UK DCTN.

2.  Regional Co-ordinator

Regional Co-ordinators have the task of raising awareness of the Network amongst local dermatologists and for identifying those who wish to participate in the trials that have been agreed by the group.  As a regional co-ordinator, you automatically become a member of the steering group.

3.  Steering Group Member

The Network is led by a Steering Group of 30 or so individuals, who advise on the suitability of trials being developed through the Network.  Steering Group members are expected to attend at least two meetings every two years.

If you wish to join the UK DCTN in any capacity, please click here.

The Network is an affiliate member of the British Association of Dermatologists and represents the BAD as an affiliate group for the NHS Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Programme.

If you would like to know more about submitting suggestions to the HTA through the affiliate scheme, please go to the Suggestions to HTA section.
