We have a small amount of funds available to assist both developing and ongoing UKDCTN-led trials.  These are allocated on a case by case basis following formal application to the Network Co-ordinating Centre.  Awards provided from 2007 to 2009 were:

• £16,000 awarded to the PATCH Study to provide dedicated administrative/ nursing support staff to identify patients with cellulitis to increase recruitment rates.
• £10,000 awarded to the Stop-Gap pilot study.
• £2,000 awarded to carry out the TREBL Feasibility Study.
