We have a number of vacancies available on the UK DCTN Steering Committee, which have arisen due to tenures coming to an end for previous members.
Our key role is to support and develop dermatology research in the UK. We would particularly welcome applications from Consultant Dermatologists with an interest in skin of colour and also from Consultant Dermatologists based in the devolved nations. Your role on the UK DCTN Steering Committee will include providing feedback on study proposals and acting as a local ambassador for the Network. Tenure for the role is three years commencing July 2021, and involves three meetings per year.
Please send your self-nominations to ukdctn@nottingham.ac.uk no later than Mon 7th June in the format of a half page statement outlining why you are a good candidate for the role along with a short CV. Nominations will be reviewed by the UK DCTN Executive Committee followed by approval at the UK DCTN AGM on Weds 7th July (as part of the BAD virtual Annual Meeting).
It is important to note that we are not seeking nominations from dermatology trainees or patients/carers and so nominations from these groups won’t be considered at this time.
Please note that you must be a member of the UK DCTN to apply. Join here: http://www.ukdctn.org/join-the-network/index.aspx
