Training opportunity via the 2018 Trainee Group network

Research training scheme for Dermatology Trainees

This is an opportunity for dermatologists at the early stages of their career to become actively engaged in research.  It aims to help dermatology trainees effectively reach their research competencies and develop skills in critical appraisal and clinical research methodology.  The scheme includes:

  • Working in small groups under the guidance of experienced mentors, for a minimum of four months, to develop clinical research ideas in the field of dermatological surgery
  • Free of charge training day on critical appraisal and clinical trials - Tues 11 Sept 2018.
  • This is not just a one day course—you will be expected to commit a degree of time and work as a member of a UK DCTN Trainee Group
  • Attendance at the one day training course is compulsory for all those involved

Information about previous UK DCTN Trainee Groups and the application form for the 2018 scheme can be found on the UK DCTN website.  Places are limited to 25 so apply now - Closing date Friday 19th January 2018.
